Hello and thanks for visiting my web-site.
I have a Piano Teaching Practice in Teddington, offering piano lessons to students of all ages from SW London and Surrey, including Twickenham, Richmond, the Hamptons, Kingston, East Molesey and Thames Ditton. My particular interests are:
- teaching early years children from 4 years old* (see my early years page).
- teaching adult beginners and returners. In particular, I strongly believe in the power of piano playing to aid stress-relief and write about this here
- keeping teens playing the piano during a time when the drop-off rate for piano students is very high. I am a designated ‘Piano Teen Engagement Specialist’ within the international TopMusic community.
- teaching all-round musicianship, through the piano, to any age group – more about this here
For younger students, I hold two concerts per year in a local church to provide an opportunity to perform in a friendly setting to family and friends. My son has been having regular piano lessons once a week but unfortunately his teacher past away. He enjoy the sessions with her and i would like him to continue leaning.
